Local Hackathons, on the global stage.

We're at the end of the fall initiative. You got your first bitcoin during the airdrop. You collaborated with peers on a crowd-sourced blockchain educational course. Now it's time to create something.

This November, we're shining a spotlight on projects created in local blockchain hackathons and connecting them with industry experts and recognition to potentially take their project to the next level.

We did it! Read the Gauntlet post-op

Sia is a decentralized cloud storage platform, serving an API that allows you to upload and download files. Files are encrypted and spread across dozens of nodes on the network, such that there’s no single point of failure. On Sia, you control the data. Safer, more secure, more private – a better cloud.

Ethereum is a  decentralized platform that runs smart contracts: applications that run exactly as programmed without any possibility of downtime, censorship, fraud or third party interference. An enormously powerful shared global infrastructure that can represent the ownership of property and value.

We curate a panel of industry experts, VC partners, top developers – and give them 100 votes each. These gurus use these 100 votes in any ratio on projects submitted to the gauntlet and then they write a 1-page explanation of their vote.

Toolkit Partners of the Gauntlet offer enterprise APIs that participants can use to build their projects. Participants using toolkits will have direct access to the company's development team to overcome obstacles.

Not near a local hackathon? You'll still have access to the Toolkits and experts we've curated to help you along. You'll submit a website, 90 second video, and code/demo for the review at the end.
